Punk Rocker is a slot that pays tribute to the, just as the name says, punk movement of late 70’s in London. It is a loud game that keeps the energy flowing throughout and graphics are complimentary to the entire feel with Einstein, Churchill or Mona Lisa all making appearances in their punk versions.
Default playfield is set on 5×3 grid with all 243 combinations in play, but that can expand in both directions with game features’ help. Declared RTP is 96,11%. Both bonus versions can be bought for either 80x or 243x the bet.
Features:
There are two types of special symbols, first one being the Molotov Wild. In addition to substituting any symbol, Molotov can expand to the entire reel or spread to the positions on adjacent reels. xWays Mystery Symbol reveals 2 to 4 of same symbols on the reel and also expands the size of the reel up to 6 rows. To start the bonus, 3 Scatter symbols in the form of London Underground sign are needed. However, if only 2 land, Riot Respin is awarded as consolation prize. Two Scatters turn to Molotov Wilds that can expand and lock into place and then the sixth reel is put in play. See the example in this video.
Bonus:
Three Scatters start the eight Anarchy Free Spins. Sixt reel is activated and a train with modifiers is added to the top of the screen, running horizontally. Modifiers apply to the three jumping Wilds that change positions on the screen for every spin. Train carriages can also be empty, meaning no modifier will be applied. Modifier that stops above the reel where the Wild is, changes that Wild symbol to one of the following: xWays adds mystery symbols to that reel, Free Spins add 1 to 3 free spins, Jumping Wild adds additional Wild, Multiplier adds the multiplier up to 25x and 6×6 converts the game to 6×6 grid with 45,656 combinations in play. Civil War Free Spins has the same features, only it starts with 4 Wilds (that’s how many Scatters you need to start it too) and that gives more chances for huge wins just like in this video.
Verdict:
Punk Rocker is a great game with flawless graphic and sound execution. It might seem a bit hard to understand at the beginning, but it is worth spending a bit more time to get a hang of it. Bonuses are exciting. Potential for a huge win increases significantly just by adding one additional Wild for the Civil War version which makes it worth waiting/paying more for. Overall, excellent game.
