Aztec themed game from Blueprint gaming with licensed Megaways engine from BTG. It is cascading reels type of slot, with 6 reels and a horizontal one above the 2,3,4 and 5 positions. That can add to for 117,649 possible combinations to win. Some of the symbols are larger than the others, reducing the number of possible combinations. Therefore, there is always a counter in upper left corner of the screen that shows how many possible winning ways are possible with current wheel.
Obviously, this all reminds very much to other Megaways themes, such as Extra Chilli for example, but with a few added twists.
Features:
For starters, there is a Mystery symbol that reveals itself at the end of the spin. That delays the decision and gives you that extra second of excitement while expecting something valuable. Once you get, or buy, the bonus you are facing the choice of how volatile would you like the bonus to be. You can either go with 15 free spins with a minimum of 324 Megaways, 10 with 2304, or with only 5 spins but with 10,000 ways to win. Given that the multiplier increases after each combination made, I would recommend to always go with more free spins. There is also a “Mystery Choice” where you choose a tile with how many free spins and then the other one with how many Megaways. You’re hoping here you would hit 15 spins with 10,000 Megaways, but it is not as simple as it looks.
However, free spins are fun and exciting to play. You can retrigger them number and that is always the goal given that multiplier increases and therefore later wins pay more than the early ones.
Verdict:
Temple of Treasure is another fun Megaways game to play. It has potential to hit big in bonus rounds and it does build up the excitement as the game progresses, which is a great quality. Blueprint has added some tweaks here that are not too complicated to understand and have kept it simple and exciting.
