Genie Jackpots Megaways was done by the Blueprint gaming, using the Megaways system from BTG. It seems that Blueprint likes the idea of having multiple types of features in their games. No exception here, there are a couple of features during the regular game and also a couple of different bonuses.

Gameplay is not the fastest. For example, it takes almost 10 seconds to show all the wins like in this video. That should go faster, I don’t care where I have won the 2 cents, and I fully trust the computer not to cheat on me there.

There is a magic lamp next to the reels. Every now and then, Genie comes out of the lamp to grant you a wish in the form of regular game features. You get to chose one among three lamps to determine which feature you get. There are 4 options. Wild Megaways – Adds wild symbols to the reels. Genie Wilds – Genie Wild symbols cover an entire reel. Wilds can have multipliers of up to 5x. Genie Wild Spin – Mystery Symbols or Wilds will guarantee a win. Bonus Megaways – Adds Bonus symbols, which increases chances of triggering the free spins round.

You can see the “Genie Wilds” helping for a great win in this video.

You need to collect three or more Bonus symbols. The more the better as here you get 10 free spins for 3 Bonus symbols, 12 for 4, and so on. Again you get to choose the lamp that will award a particular bonus.

Mystery Wishes – Adds Mystery Symbols to the reels which then become any of the regular symbols in stacks. Unlimited Multiplier – Each free spin increases the multiplier by at least 1. Genie awards additional free spins. Locking Wilds – Wilds on reels 2,3,4 and 5 staz sticky until the end of bonus. If you fill an entire reel with wilds then additional free spins are awarded. Genie Streak – Any winning combination gets a chance of improving by re- spinning the rest.

Locking Wilds seems to be the best one.

Slotspinner guy got a nice win from the Locking Wilds bonus, check it out here.

Genie Jackpot Megaways is OK. There is a variety of features and bonuses that might keep you interested. However, I was under impression that regular games and bonuses are not balanced. I had a feeling it takes like 300-400 spins to get a bonus, and even then I was helped by the Genie feature. So, I would prefer to stick with the BTG original Megways games, which seemed more pacey and exciting to play to me. However, I have to add that Genie has a nice atmosphere to it and good potential for big wins.
