Regular game:

Barbarian Fury is another gloriously looking game from Nolimit City. It is set on a 5×4 grid with declared RTP of 96,06% and maximum payout of 8,785 time the bet. Graphics are excellent and complimentary sounds create the atmosphere of a long gone Barbarian times in the wild north.

Game incorporates xNudge feature used with success in some other Nolimit City games.  Bonus round can be bought for 70x the bet which is always a good feature.

Features:

XNudge feature comes in the form of a Big Bear Wild taking all four positions on the reel. It can appear on middle reels, 2,3 and 4. If any part of the Big Bear stops on the screen, it will nudge up or down to the entire reel. For each nudge, multiplier increases by one. So the best option here is to get a Big Bear just on the bottom or top position on the reel, almost as if barely catching it.

Another feature is Barbarian respin. It can be activated any time 3 or more of the same Barbarian symbols land on the screen. There are four types of those, and just like the Big Bear, they are 4 symbols high, taking the entire reel. If respin is triggered, all symbols will go to central position to cover the reel and then the remaining ones are spun again for a nice chance of a decent win like in the video.

Bonus:

As usual, 3 Scatter Wolf symbols are needed to start the Fury Spins bonus round. Number of Free spins depends on where the Scatters land. Wolf go downwards and off the screen and each nudge is worth one free spin. So, if Wolfs land higher on the reels, more Free spins are awarded. In the bonus, both features are combined. 3 of the same Barbarians will always lock in the central positions and trigger the respin, while Big Bears nudges will increase multipliers that do not reset, but keep increasing for the entire bonus round. Also, 3 Wolfs can again add more free spins. Nicely combined bonus with great potential.

Verdict:

Barbarian Fury is great looking game that is not difficult to understand but still offers some innovative game play. Overall it is not fantastic, but still a great game that will keep you playing for a while.
